NewIndia's Deep Tech Revolution: Awakening of The Golden Bird
This article discusses India's goal of achieving technological independence, framed through its historical identity as the "Sone ki Chidiya" (Golden Bird). It traces India's journey from ancient greatness through periods of colonial rule and modern challenges, investigating how foreign powers have deliberately crippled the nation's deep tech revolution and what lessons we must take from it. Through my analysis of global events and expert discussions with scientists and policy experts, I argue that mastering three critical areas is the key to ushering in a new era of success. The paper serves as a call for every engineering discipline to embody the spirit of excellence, exploring the critical need for caution in an information warfare era and exposing how the West deliberately captures our brilliant minds to maintain its technological dominance through "Brain Drain".
